Home doesn’t have to be where the stuff is
As children move away, the economy changes and retirement looms, many people decide moving into a smaller home or condominium makes sense.
The sheer amount of belongings collected over the years is usually the problem. It may also be the size of beloved heirlooms that simply cannot fit into a smaller home.
“When you have a cluttered home, you can feel cluttered on the inside,” said Jamika Woodburn, a professional organizer for Organize Station.
It is important for downsizers to make the determination of what to keep and what to release.
